I actually think its the results of his upcoming surgery that will determine how much longer he fights. It was just a year ago when he said he will continue to fight as long as he has no serious injury...so if he feels good after the surgery, he will fight past 2009

i think if it's just MIRKO himself he would fight 4-5 more years easy, i think it's his injurys that force him to retire sooner sometimes.

No fighter is fighting just to entertain you, fighters fight to win no matter what. I guess you wanted CC to jeopardize himself and bang w/ a 7ft+ 300lb+ guy and w/ a huge reach advantage just to make you happy. You should be old enough to understand the strategy CC used in that fight.

I am sure that Mirko will be in the ring or cage in 2010 and 2011.You will see!He must and will return to the UFC after 3 fights in DREAM and take the UFC heavyweight belt.Mirko can do it.Just look traning highlights before the fight with Alistar.It's icredible,Mirko is still very fast.But everything is about mental and motivation,if CRO COP can fix this with head and move forward nobody can stop him.

Thank god a couple of you guys agree that the fight was a load of crap. So boring I thought it was a shame.
As for the contests, if you enter and things go wrong, don't complain this time. Without planning, it will not go smoothly. After the last one I actually find it hard to believe that anyone would bother to do it again. Did Goeb get his front row tickets to Dream NYE? I don't think so.
